V2 Sweet problem
« on: April 30, 2007, 09:17:00 PM »
Ok, I bought this ball NIB at the shop I used to go to not too long ago. Drilled with a 5 1/2 pin to pap, pin down and no hole. Pin is to the left and below middle finger. Kind of reminds me of a lefty "label" drill. Ok well here is the problem, it is cracking from the left side of the pin all the way past my ring finger hole. This ball is a tournament ball for me and I don't want to come across a tournament where I need to use then use it and it come back in multiple pieces. What I am wanting to know is what I should buy to replace it. I was thinking maybe a Toxic or Smash Time pearl. Posted this bulletin here because both balls are produced by Ebonite. Well thank you.

The Smash Time Pearl would be fairly similar, as would the Dynothane 357 Magnum if you can find one.  The shell characteristics, RG, and differential are pretty close on those.
