Title: Vital Energy was drilled today
Post by: fabes on January 01, 2011, 07:39:25 AM
I was lucky enough to get a Vital Energy, and it was drilled up today. Stats; ball was 15 lb 2 ounces and the pin was just shy of 2". Not sure of the top weight.
The ball was drilled 4 1/2 x 4 1/2. Pin is under the ring finger with the cg just below and right. The mb is in a very strong position. No weight hole was needed.
I had a chance to throw it on a lane that had a left over shot on it. There was a fair share of oil on the lane. I was surprised how strong the ball was; as the video on the Ebonite site shows it has a lot stronger move than the Vital Sign does. I had thrown the Sign two times in demos and found it to be a an arcing ball. The Energy is so much stronger and really turns the corner hard, but is very easy to read. I was very pleased and impressed, and I look forward to throwing it on a fresh shot.
