Vital Sign
« on: May 28, 2010, 11:03:18 AM »
Received my balls today. Punched out a Vital.
Pin down just right of Middle finger, cg out, no extra hole.
Warmed up a little, kept the scorer on , something I never do
on a shakedown. Wanted yo see my speed as I have  been very inconsistent
lately. Shot a 300, yes in practice, but none the lees 300.
Very attractive and great shelf appeal.
BTW, speed didn't seem to matter today.
Left lane fresh, right had open play, both dressed last night.
Looks like this one is gonna make the trip to Reno.
Enjoy!

PAP  4over and 1/8 down, speed around 14.5 on our scorers.
Rev rates from 280 to 360 depending.
I bowl at Lafayette Lanes in Louisiana.
There have 4 800's in league play in 50years.
Pretty sure we also have the least amount of
300's shot in the country.
Easy now? NO, just more easy.

Oh, I like pin up drillings, between or left of middle finger.
Folks seem to identify with pin locations.
I also love small holes DOWN.
Drilled the Vital to take to Reno.
ENJOY!

Any questions on any of the new balls, maybe I can help.
I will be gone for a week. If I don't know the answers,
I have lots of phone numbers.
BTW, I am 55 years old, so there is always hope.
I can help on Turbo Grips and Dexter Shoes, just not on this post. lol

drilled my VITAL today! WOW this ball moves...did pin 1/4" below ring finger and PSA kicked 20 degrees out with a small weight hole to get it back to 1/2 side...Ball is really good!

also punched a Game Plan...Pin 1" above bridge and cg kicked 25 degrees out with a small hole on PAP and this ball is REALLY smooth and continuous.

Can not wait to see what they do this weekend at the tourney

It's the same coverstock as the Magic Action,  Flexol Super Plus Reactive, if that's any help.

It must roll much better than the vids. Sorry but the video for that thing must have been one of thee most boring ball intro videos i have ever seen. And it was annoying watching two pros intro a ball, and sound like they are trying so hard to make what they are saying sound natural...

If the pin is right of middle finger and the cg is kicked out doesn't it end up needing a balance hole to get the statics legal?

Just depends on what the static weights end up being after drilling...i have a magic touch that only has 1/2 side and it is pin down and cg at 40 degrees...i have weighed it multiple times
