Warrior Elite or Mission Unknown
« on: September 09, 2016, 02:53:19 PM »
All hype aside, I've decided to add 1 asym to my bag. Was leaning towards the Warrior Elite based on how I see Curlie Becton throw it in video, but the Mission unknown looks pretty close.

Warrior Elite is a proven performer... True?
Mission Unknown is an unknown, yes?

Higher diff is important to my low rev style, and again, that points to the Elite.

However, the higher degree of asymmetry makes it a trickier drill in my humble opinion...

Forget the hype, which one to get?
Feedback appreciated.

I would be shocked if the Mission Unknown handled more oil than the Warrior Elite. Ebonite is saying the new GB 12.7 coverstock is their longest and most angular ever so the Elite should be smoother too (although that's not a big surprise since it's stronger). Just depends on how much oil you're looking at using it on and/or what shape you want.

Don't worry about the higher mass bias too much. There's too many other factors and too many other options on the market today to add another layer of angst. :D

That's a great point, and something I left out. I have nothing but Symmetric now, and everything is early and smooth. My bag is full of too strong Symmetric. Although I have a lo-rev left-hand side, I'm looking for a longer more angular motion, which is why I want to add an asymmetric to the bag.  Point in favor for the Mission

I wouldn't worry about .020 intermediate diff. Balls start to get real touchy after .025.
