Titls says it... Was the Black Matrix Trimax 1 a particle pearl or reactive pearl?

Got a chance to get one and need to know about it. And also what was it's best condition? What kind of ball was it... long and strong, early and arc, long and mild, etc...???

This ball is a pearl reactive.  From what I can remember, it clears the heads pretty well and makes a nice, smooth continuous arc to the pocket.  I had one right after it was released and it was my favorite ball just because it was a pearl that was pretty controllable on the backend.  This ball will fit in the light to medium conditions.  Give you an idea.  I have a 540 rpm rev rate.  My ball speed is around 18mph.  On a fresh house condition (standard crown 10 to 10, 32 feet buff to 38, I played between 12-15 at the arrows fading out to about 8-10 and it made a really smooth move off the dry and hit was pretty good.  It is very comparable to the Messenger Ti Pearls, but a touch less on the backend.  A good ball if you want a ball to clear the heads well without the jerk off the dry.

It is reactive, damn I loved that ball I sure miss mine.  Mine cracked because I dropped it one a small peaice of metal from a broken toy car and it stuck in the ball and cracked it.  That so f'in sucked.  Anyway it is reactive, same cover that was on the Vortex 1.

The ball was long and smooth pearly reactive.

It would fit what you are looking for as would the Vortex I pearl.

It was not a great ball but was ok.  I know a lot of people who loved the trimax II.  (More flare) and others who loved the Trimax III.

I think the I was probably the least liked but it worked well playing straight down the boards with a small flip!
