A little confused about the Infinate One
« on: July 19, 2006, 01:15:10 AM »
Okay....is this ball supposed to be able to handle more or less oil then the Big One? In short...is this more of a heavy oil ball vis a vis the Big One?

From what I have seen from any of the liturature, or Ebonite product DVD on it, It will be able to handle more oil then the Big One. Though unfortunetly,(or fortunetly depending how you look at it)the Infinate One can be turned into both a Big One and One very easily. But to make sure I have your answer, Yes it will handle more oil then the Big One. It will cover more boards on the same pattern then the Big One to keep it from jumping through the nose.

BTM says it handles crazy amounts of oil, more than the Big One.

In OOb it will handle , maybe not much more, but more oil than the big one.

What it all boils down to is the person...Since the Infinite goes longer and bites harder, the question has to be asked. Is that what I am looking for? Depending on your game one would be more appropriate than the other. For me, I can generate a really heavy roll so the BIG ONE is HUGE for me. Both, hands down, are great balls for the heavier conditions. So if you are looking to generate an earlier roll I would definitely go with the big one. If you are looker for a later reaction, which in heavy oil is questionable, then I would definitely go with the Infinite One. Hope this helps
