What Can I Expect From This Drilling???

I just recieved my Ebonite Overtime today, and have to put a slug into it and fix one of the fingertips.

The layout is the pin between the fingers, the CG an inch up and left and an x-hole 2 inches to the left of the thumb hole (I'm a lefty). What type of reaction should I expect from this type of drilling?
