I'm thinking that before fall leagues start up that Ebonite will come out with a strong solid or hybrid ball in either the high performance or mid performance category. I would like to see a hybrid with the Champion core.
-
I bet they come out with 5 or 6 new releases before the upcoming season...

And they will all be quickly forgotten about, like all of the new Ebonite equipment is.

Cynical, but probably true.
What I think should be next for Ebonite is to figure out how to solve their ball rep drain and attrition. Something isn't right there to have 15 and 20-year ball reps jump ship. Something has changed both company-wide and product-wide that Ebonite is out of flavor for people. They need to resolve that as well as throw something solid out for use, otherwise Ebonite may only be sold overseas; hopefully it doesn't go the way of MoRich.
BL.

I don't disagree, they have a really good ball in the Persevere, Champion, Challenge and from all reports the new Source. But I think they have really disappointed a lot of people with there product line until these balls.
-
Hmm... Massive lay-offs?
-
Their next step is to figure out how to market their product.
They are the "boring" company now. As mentioned new balls are quickly forgotten because there is no hype. No pomp or circumstance.
Just......blah.

#bowlitforward. Much stronger back end reactions. Fewer arc and even rolling.

Probably purchase Storm

Probably purchase Storm
Lol theyll need to sell 'few' more bowling balls first. Lol they obviously cant afford to sign staff members right now. .how could they purchase another ball company?
-
Probably purchase Storm
I highly doubt that will happen lol

I think this its very true. The other three brands have really shined but Ebi has been less then stellar.

Cease production for a while, I'm serious.
-
That is not happening.

108 years just ain't going away.

As long as Ebonite keeps making Track and C300 i will be happy.

TBH I think they need to figure out just exactly what Ebonite is these days. All the rest of their brands kind of all have their own identity except for Ebonite.
Columbia 300 puts out great looking balls with great names. You have the Eruption lines, the Smackdown, etc. that would appeal to younger bowlers.
Hammer has always been that company for people that wanted to be a bit different, and they do a pretty dang good job with marketing with video. While they have been venturing out into other lines, they always have those tie ins with " Hammers" that people love ( Nails, Wrench, etc.)
Track has the crazy number system, and its something different. When you see a 300c or whatever number it is, you know that person is throwing Track.
Ebonite just comes off boring and rather bland and just doesn't have a brand identity imo.
