I think, due to both its strongish asymmetric core and the ability of surface to be adjusted, it has the capability to be what you want. The core is very flexible but due to its asymmetry, once drilled, it usually stays within the range of that drilling, for the bowler's release. That is the nature of higher PSA strength asymmetric cores. The surface adjustments can allow you to play different amounts of oil, depending on your ball speed/rev rate ratio, of course.
