« on: July 22, 2006, 02:32:33 PM »
i have a high rev rate and after the lanes burn up all of my balls hook up to early. i was wondering if an ice would help solve this problem for me or if there is something else i should get?

I don't believe an Ice is gonna do much less than a Black Ice. They are very very similiar in design!! Maybe a little less aggressive drilling (i.e. No holes to get it started up earlier, cg's in and not kicked out, etc...)

If you already have a black ice the ice is not that different. Might I suggest:
Lane 1-XXXL
Storm- Big Hit Pearl
Visionary- Slate Blue Gargoyle
Brunswick- Dryer or urethane
Track- Desert Heat

The (blue) Ice is weaker than the Black Ice, but if you are wanting something weaker still, then Big Hit or the Hit, is about the best way to go, cost wise anyway, JMO

I would also look at a tornado or tornado warning. I have the red/white/blue warning and when the lanes start to dry out it is my go to ball
