I'm looking for anyone who has thrown the orignal NV. There are no reviews available for it. I have an opportunity to pick one up and I'm deciding if I should. Any feedback would be appreciated. What should I expect with this ball? I know the ball probally isn't worth $300 but is it worth $150?

I had the ball for a while. It was really strong in the oil for me. Picked up the mid lane nice with a strong arc on the backend. I ultimately sold it because it was just too much ball for the houses I bowled at.

I threw mine right on the house rack. I don't think it has moved yet. Take your $150.00 and get the best ball out right now, the Twisted Fury.

Thanks for the replies. I'll just wait for the Bite to come out on the 4th.

I saw a guy with one right after they came out. Midlane monster. Very smooth. Looked like a great ball for med/heavy flatter patterns.

Telling it like it is.

no way and no its not worth 150 but it might be worth 100 new. its a good ball but for that price there are many good balls. what r u using it for.I know bowling ,but lane condition ball has strong back end and is very good for med to light oil.

ball was a great piece if you were bowling on a lot of oil, otherwise nothing special...if its new for 150 id pick it up

It's a nib 14# x-out. The cg is to the left side of the pin/mb line. Good pin and top #'s. I toss 15#'s but was willing to drop in weight to give it a try.
I'm seeing a mixed bag of responses here. Some say good for heavy oil, some say good for light to medium. I've personally never seen one thrown. I just see them go for big $$'s on ebay. I figured it wasn't a bad price.

I picked up a used NV, and the ball is fantastic. Great rolling, ease through the heads, unbelievable mid-lane reaction. For myself I like it better then the Total NV. It is sharper off the breakpoint and seems to be more forgiving. Can really open up a lane with the NV. As good as this used one is I would love to get my hands on a new one. As good as this ball is, its an absolute shame that ebonite did make this ball available so everyone could have had a chance to throw it, without paying a small fortune.
