Widow Core vs Warrior Core
« on: June 20, 2016, 06:16:07 PM »
From anyone with experience with both or some technical speculation. How would these two cores differ and what's their similarities? I'm on the fences with the Dark Legend (Hybrid) and Warrior Elite. Likes or dislikes to the cores, or those two specific balls?

Seems to me based on reading and watching videos the widow cores is more rounded out and continuous while the warrior core give more of a pop downlane. Am I close?

Both balls are very good, but i prefer the warrior elite overall.  For me the dark legend is the more angular of the two, drilled the same.  The warrior elite has rolled very well for me on house patterns and mid length sport patterns as well.  A very underrated ball in my opinion.

To me the Gas Mask core has always provided a quick transition.

The Iron Fist core is quickly becoming a favorite of mine and that's just from throwing the original Warrior. I get a rounded shape but once it starts it doesn't stop at all.

I don't think you can go wrong with either, I think it comes down more to figuring out which cover will suit your needs better. I personally feel like EBI has the 3 best asymmetric cores right now with the Gas Mask, Iron Fist, and I block in the Paradox

Which would complement the Paradox Pearl best? Anyone hit the Warrior Elite with polish and noted the changes?

When the elite is hooking too early i switch to the paradox pearl.  It is a great step down for me.  I have not polished the warrior elite though.
