Will Ebonite mass produce the NV?

Look at it this way:
-with the success and popularity of the Total NV, people WANT it!
-making only a limited number of NV's and making them hard to get (pro shop operators, staffers) these balls have only been thrown by the best bowlers (that could make any ball look good).
-With the price at $400, there is still demand!
-It would have a niche to its own once the IO is taken out of the lineup

SO....wouldn't it just make sense to release the solid NV in September and just give into the demand and make some $$$?

IMHO, this would not make much sense. The NV is so popular BECAUSE it is/was only available in limited numbers, or as a kind of bonus for pro shops. You will also have to see the timing, it was released as a kind of "sneak preview" after the One series. That's also part of its hype.

Besides, it is technically a step behind the Total NV, and a pearl. I dunno, but I do not think that this ball is very attractive for mass production and distribution?

Imagine if Brunswick had released such a special "preview" edition of the Fury, just after the Total Inferno? Would have been a hype ball, too...

The NV will NOT be mass produced. Go back and read the numerous posts on this subject over the past couple of months. Ed Gallager with Ebonite emailed several of users here including  myself, that this ball would NOT be re-released. They promised the pro shops this would not happen and they are going to stick to thier word. Those are Ed's words and I have no reason not to believe him..

I also disagree that The NV is only popular because its limited, that might be true to a certain extent, but I have seen the ball in action and its a monstor..

i have to say that the nv is not a step behind the total nv...sorry the nv is WAY stronger and hooks a ton more for me...thats just my 2 cents...

i'm sure you're right, they won't mass produce the NV again. it will not be blue and silver, and have only the NV logo, anyway. I can't see how they possibly couldn't release a ball very very close to it. from what i understand, it's a solid total nv right? so they're not going to have a solid reactive ball in the NV line? just my opinion.

ok, hook does not mean it is ahead in technology.  Also, the Traxion reactive is a new idea.  The Abzorb 15.1 on the NV, IMHO is a more oil-absorbing version of previous covers, going with the number scheme.
