wow the ONE pearl!

never paid attention to ebonite website, but wow, i really liked the one when i tested it on a demo

what u guys think?

Man that's a pretty ball.  I might have to get me one of those... I just hope it holds up better than the original One, I owned two of them and both of them cracked on me.  One lasted me a few thousand games, and the other about 200.  The original One was the best ball I've ever owned though.

Wow. I loved my Original One. It was amazing for a full season of use, and even with meticulous care, it died after about 150 games. But I like the look of that ball, makes me want to try it :-P

Just threw the new One pearl tonight at demo days. All i can say is wow. Able to play straight up with fresh shot and broken down lanes watch out. Tons of backend movement. Nice complement to original one. Also threw the NVD, Playmaker, pin slasher and striking motion. NVD great ball  Pin slasher what a turd  Playmaker was great and 2 me striking motion just another turd.

GB 10.7 seems to "die" a lot sooner than any cover I've ever used, even with proper maintenance.

I like the idea of the pearl, because I do like the OOB reaction of 10.7.  However, like I stated above, it never lasts long with me.

I'm sure others will love it though.

Its pretty much flip of a coin with covers. I have a TNV thats is still kicking after almost 2 years with bowling 3 nights a week and tournaments. But then i have a widow that died after abut 30-40 games. So who knows If the ball lasts it will be great,but if it has the known die factor then will be just another paper weight

ANyone notice on the website they are calling it stronger than the original? When is a pearl going to be stronger than a solid with the same core? Maybe its just me but longer usually means weaker......

it may be longer but it will peeeeeell off the spot probably to make it stronger overall still.

also my SR300 with 10.7 on it still is great after 4000+ games, just keep cleaning and rejuvenating it and its like new. this is my third season with it. yay

Stronger on the backend. Pearls react stronger on the backend(flip) than solids.

If you get a chance to throw it you will see what they mean. Ball is weaker in sense of being able to be use on oil but as far as over all hook i would say One pearl takes it. Its a monster off the dry. I was able to throw it straight up the boards or swing on it. Just a nice all around ball reaction for many players

I understand what you all are saying about it being stronger off the spot. I just think it is funny they always say the balls with the bigger backend=stronger. That is why people complain that there ball that was supposed to be so "strong" doesn't hook on heavier oil. A stronger move in the backend doesn't make a stronger ball, a stronger roll in oil makes a stronger ball. Just is almost false advertising to me.

WOW....this will go great with my original THE ONE!!!i still use this ball after 300+ games and it's still a beast!!!with the pearl version...OH MY!!!!!
