37 feet is short, and im not suprised that The One is burning out. Recomendation...well...heres your choices if u stay with ebonite.

Cross Fire
Ice
Black Ice
Tornado (maybe)
Over Time (polished with weak drill)

A real nice choice i believe for this if u were willing to try hammer would be the burgandy Pure Hammer/

I wouldn't call 37 feet short.  Mor of a medium shot.  Short to me is less than 35 feet.  Anyways, how much volume does the pattern have?

I would suggest the Ice because it is still strong enough on the turn and still handles the spottiness that comes with carrydown better than some of the others. The Overtime would be too much unless you do push the carrydown farther down. The Crossfire would be my alternative.

V2 or V2 Power either shiny if its decent surface and depending on your rev rate.

The One burned out, one a 37 foot pattern??  That's hard for me to believe, especially since it comes 4000 grit polished.  If The One is burning up, maybe the V2 Clean but certainly not the other V2s they have a lower RG and want to roll up early anyway.  How about a higher RG like the Stingers?  Or The Ice or Fire?

I have an Ice that handles the short shot with burned-out heads very well. Very smooth, predictable ball with a nice hit.
