Help with trimming down to 6 balls
« on: December 11, 2005, 12:34:45 PM »
Hey Hey, i need help with my Line up, I've got 7 balls and most prob The One on the way which would make it 8. This includes a Plastic, which i wanna have in there.

These are the ball i have and the way they are drilled.

Heavy - Xxcel - Pin above, Bomb in Strong position, cover at 800 grit
Heavy-Med - V2 Particle - Pin below and just right of ring finger, CG out at 45, cover is polished atm, but will be at 1000 grit.
Med-Heavy - Showtime Sanded - 12:00 leverage, cover at 1000 grit
Med-Heavy - Big Time Pearl - Pin above ring, CG at 12, Cover 4000 with FFP (Factory Finish Polish)
Med - V2 Sweet - 12:00 leverage, cover a lite polish.
Light - TPC warrior - Pin beside ring, Cg in palm, PSA left of thumb.
Plastic - White Dot

When i get The One it will prob be drill pattern '2', which be for Tournaments ONLY.

Thanks in advance

Ashley

I would probably drop the Showtime Sanded and the V2 Sweet.  You have the XXcel as your oiler, which is good, and 800 grit should work for that.  I would probably suggest taking your V2 Particle to 2000 grit isntead of 1000, that will give you a better fit in between your XXcel and Big Time Pearl.  I'd drop the Showtime, keep the Big Time Pearl at 4000 with FFP.  I'd drop the V2 Sweet as it, in my opinion, overlaps considerably with the TPC Warrior.

I concur.

Look for me in the upcoming PBA Tour! I'll be the guy in the back row with the foam finger singing "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" during the 7th inning.
