With as much as I loved my Espionage, I had high expectations for the Treason. I expected it to be a similar motion but a little stronger overall, and that's exactly what I got.

I first threw this ball on a fresh 38' house shot. Within a few shots it became clear that it was too much ball for this condition, so I put a coat of polish on it. This is when the ball really came alive. The thing that stood out the most to me was the pin action. Pins were absolutely flying when this ball hit the rack. It had a nice read in the midlane and a very strong, arcy motion on the back, even with the polish.

Recently I got to throw the Treason on the 52' PBA Badger pattern. I took the surface to 3000 grit abralon to let the ball pick up a little earlier than with polish, as is needed on a shot that long. All I can say is that this pattern allowed the ball to reach it's full potential. Even with the diminished angle due to less overall hook on such an extreme pattern, the Treason had no trouble kicking out the corner pins. However, the most impressive part was the fact that I had a couple boards to miss right. On a high volume of oil, having some hook right is a very precious thing. The Treason gave me more of this than I could have imagined on a pattern such as Badger.

Overall, I can say this ball will not be leaving my bag any time soon. When my Espionage isn't quite making the corner, I can pull out the Treason and know it'll get rid of that problem.

I drilled this with a 5x3 with the pin being under my middle finger with a small hole on my VAL. I left the coverstock at the 4000 matte that is comes with. I was impressed with how easy this ball clears the heads. While it sees the midlane it doesnt rev up too early, but once it reaches the back end that is where it lets out all of it pent up aggestion with a heavy motion left untill it falls off the pin deck. This is by far the first ball out of the bag when they are med - heavy conditions.
