« on: February 01, 2007, 07:19:41 AM »
IT looks like drilling up some 15lb equipment is working well for Mr. Voss...  I would love to see him on TV this week...

Keep it up Brian - don't over think!!!

ya and stop by and see fuzzy,

nice to see b. voss pushing a private label ball that's not available to pro shops.  way to go b. voss.

are you related to fuzzy???

i wonder how one justifies the cost of these special makeup balls???

does b. voss care???

no,  kinda thinking not,  it seems all we hear out of him is complaining about the pba tour.

Once again - WHO CARES!!!  I was congratulating Brian Voss on bowling well... He could be throwing Manhattan Rubbers for all I care - which if you didn't know are still made by a company in Japan under a different label and I could sell those to people that want a ball for recreation...

If you have a problem with Elite that is fine and dandy it is a free internet space...

**Congrats Brian Voss**

I just have one question to all the people who have something negative to say about Elite.. Have you ever owned or shot with an Elite ball longer than a few games.. i understand what all the rumors are saying.. but for myself.. when i switched to elite my scores did improve.. i throw the exact same way..in the same houses .. but my scores have improved..now i agree with you about the price.. but the price is so high because of the name.. it all boils down to business and money.. they are lowering the prices..the alien is 328 now instead of 399.. they are distributing the 50% off cards to get the balls into regular consumer hands.. but how much sense does it make to go around spreading rumors..and presenting it as fact..if you havent thrown an elite shut up about it.. plain and simple. your opinion really doesnt matter.

JLS - the topic is Brian Voss bowling well this week  -  not the economics of one brand of ball vs. another. Please refrain from hijacking threads - you are completely free to start your own on that subject if you feel it necessary.

BTW - Congrat's Brian!

ACTUALLY the shutup was directed at everyone talking negatively about Elite, when they have no experience with it Elite.. so if the shoe fits you then so be it..

The price for aliens are 328 now.. they were 399.. I agree that they are expensive.. and i know B makes them.. so leave the comments at that!

As a fair salesman, you tell your customer that some people have experienced great things with this _____________ company..others have not.. I have heard good things and bad things about this company.. as with all ball companies..if they have the money to buy an elite then sell it..every review ive seen or person i have spoken to that bowls with elite LOVES it..  there ya go son.

thankyou kingpin,

i have never ever told anyone that the elite ball is a p.o.s.,  if asks why so much,  i honestly cannot justify the cost,  BUT IF A CUSTOMER WANTS ONE, i have and will refer them to b.p.com.

i am glad to hear you are bowling well with it,  and b. voss also.
cause i have always been a b. voss fan

have a good day

ps

it was nice of you to answer,  did you notice that the other two pro shop operators have not answered the question about when a customer asks about the cost difference on these balls??

I am a nice guy by nature and hate conflict.  So to end the conflict I am going to say this -

Go Brian Voss...
