Three weeks into this experiment, and I don't think I have seen the same lane condition yet. Seems the house is also "experimenting" with things, lol.
After having used these pieces for a while, I can honestly say that it is my opinion that these balls are the real deal. They appear to be quite durable (surfaces haven't changed appreciably from their OOB finish), they seem to be very complimentary of each other, and their performance has been better than I had anticipated.
While I haven't been able to shoot any really big numbers, I can honestly say that it is NOT the equipment that is stopping me. Tonight was a GREAT example of that.
Both the ECHO and the ESPIONAGE have impressed me. I originally thought that the ECHO would be my favorite, but I now believe the ESPIONAGE has taken that place. The ESPIONAGE is so smooth and predictable, almost reminds me of the gamebreaker in its "rolly" nature, but has a bit sharper move off the breakpoint.
When that smoothness just doesn't seem to have that "POP" on the backend, I can switch to the ECHO and play the same line. Doing so, the ECHO stores up its energy for the backends much better, and is sharper off the break, giving me that added entry angle that really seems to move those pins when the smoothness of the ESPIONAGE just doesn't seem to get it done.
I really feel that this equipment is FAR outperforming my abilities at this point, and really wish I could get myself straightened out. I have NO DOUBT that these balls have EVERY ability to shoot great scores in the hands of the right people.
They read the lanes well, their performance is both dependable and predictable, and their "hit" and carry is as good as anything else I've seen so far this year, with quite a few people asking me about them after I have outscored them and their "name brand" balls.
What else could you ask for?
