First impressions of the Espionage
« on: March 25, 2013, 10:08:29 PM »
I finally had a chance to throw my Espionage in league. 225, 236, 202 (should have put it away, but I wanted to finish the night).

This ball was not anything like I expected. Looking simply at the numbers, I expected it to be much more rolly throughout the lane. This ball has a lot more backend than I really expected. I have all DV8 equipment in my bag and after 3 games, I would say this ball is very similar to my Marauder, except it reads the midlane much smoother, but it produces the big backend that allows me to get away from the guys in my league dumping it up 5-10 all night with charcoal.

I will post a picture of the layout and hopefully get some video up in a few days/week. The last game, the Espionage was just too much ball, but like I said, I really wanted to finish out the night and I threw a big 4 in the 8th frame and then 4-9 spare, 9 pin spare strike to finish the game at 202.

So far no complaints, and I can't wait to throw some more games to really get a feel for what this ball can do.

Feel free to ask/send me ?'s and I will do my best to  answer them.

Will this ball work for me?  And what drilling to recommend?

stroker, 16.5 mph, play straight up the 10 board with my Versa max and Hyroad.
