The 4D-HPT Tour was developed for use on PBA Tour conditions where additional versatility is needed as lane conditions break down. Inside the ball is the four-density weight block that is in the recently introduced and cleared 4D-HPT Hammer. Outside, there has been a ratio change in the particle loading of the cover to allow for more length and back end. The ratio change is what makes the performance difference between the existing 4D-HPT and the 4D-HPT Tour edition. Cosmetically the 4D-HPT Tour will be the same Action Blue color with Glow Yellow and Glow Red logos. The identification of the 4D-HPT Tour will be by a black pin as compared to a yellow pin in the non-Tour edition.

I've had this ball laying around NIB for about a year. Finally decided to have it drilled. Before drilling I must have spend close to an hour on the spinner trying to get a shine on it. There was no way I would have enough ball speed with that dull surface on a particle ball to get down the lane.

Drill pattern I guess would be about 4 1/2"x 4 1/2". No extra hole required.

In league shot there was a lot more oil then usual last night. I decide to pull this thing out of the bag and see what it would do. To my surprise it had really good length. The backend on this ball is crazy. I've never had a ball hook so hard but what I really like is the way it makes its transition into the hook. You can see its wanting to hook but it manages to keep going a few more feet before it turns. There is absolutely no stop in the hook. When starts to go I've never thrown anything that can cover so many boards in such a short distance. This ball is just fun to use. Didn't score great but that wasn't the balls fault. Hitting power is outstanding. Hope the cover holds up well. I think I will really like this ball.
