The Sledge Hammer Pro-Purple uses Faball’s latest development in cover materiel, Syntactive Urethane and Hammer Particle Technology.  HPT is the process of adding Micro-Size particles of diverse sizes, densities and shapes into the cover material, which determines the ball’s Cover Power Rating or CPR.  The CPR is matched with the core to achieve the ball’s designated performance.

In the Sledge Hammer Pro-Purple Syntactive, the design is for more ball surface contact on today’s newer lane oils and conditions.  The large 1,500cc Boomer Core is matched with the correct CPR cover to produce a Medium-High RG and Medium Differential.  The result is that the ball will begin its hook process further down the lane and provide stability and traction at the backend of the lane.

The only place you'll go and see more "10"'s is probably at the bank. This ball has got to be the "Flatty" Divac of all balls. The company should change it's name to "FLATBALL" they hit so weak. It I wanted a purse to throw I'd borrow one of my wife's Gucci's or Coach's, hell they cost about the same as this thing. This ball, if used on a farm in the field, would assist in the growth of whatever the crop is......but it won't help you strike. This ball is the "Flatess" Knight and the Pips of bowling. Hits like the old Black Hammer would today.......not 15 years ago. So brace yourself for the jeers and heckling from your teammates and the chants of "Flatty, flatty, flatty !!!" in the background.

A lot of poeple reall hate this ball but I don't this was really the first good ball that I got and I love it. Everyone say's that this ball is a bad product. When I got this ball my av was areould 150 and I shot a 256 with it an about 30 or more 200+ games with.

A friend of mine got one like whe I did 2 to 2 1/2 yars ago and with in the first week with it he shot a 300 with it. I like tis bal because mine is set up to go long and then hit in the backend.

I would rate this ball a 8 out of 10 it really is not such a bad ball like everyone says it is.
