are they all essentially the same or does each color mean something different. I have read that some of the covers, for example the Burgundy is softer than other colors, and that the Black is one of the hardest covers of the group and doesn't resurface very easily.

Speaking of old Faball Hammers, I managed to get a nib 15 lb Pink Hammer from a friend who knew a guy who wanted to get rid of all his old undrilled urethane equipment, he had all 15 lb undrilled nib balls. Black Rhino, Purple Angle, the Pink Hammer that I got, and a couple of Black Angles. Luckily I got my hands on one of those old gems! Guess I'll drill the Pink for fried lanes since it had the hardest shell of all the Hammers.
