Faball Nova specs
« on: December 29, 2012, 05:58:51 PM »
I've been trying to find the core specs for the old Faball Hammer Nova (which I've reeeeeally been thinking about picking up off of ebay).  I just can't find anything more than a general description, which I assume would be kind of outdated with the advances in bowling ball technology.  Can anyone out there help me out with the core specs or a modern day comparison?

In the mid 90's it was very common to not see the specific data for bowling balls, even at the pro shop level.

FWIW - The Visionary Sorcerer and the Warlocks used a similar core and construction.

I'll do some digging, but someone at Visionary might be able to give you the specifics as well.

Other balls from Faball that were listed as being high diff. like the Nova have at least a differential of 0.050 (4D Reactive) and as much as 0.070 (Spike)

Medium RG should fall between 2.50ish and 2.55.  Medium high RG for Faball was listed at 2.55 for the Reaper.
