Faball Hammer 3D?

I just picked up one of these for cheap off Craigslist. What can anybody tell me about this ball? I know it's reactive. There's no information on the core at bowlingballvault.

If it the purplish 3D offset you have one of the best Faball Hammer balls ever made in your hands.

 I was hoping it was the Offset when I went to buy it because the color looked the same on the Craigslist picture, but all it says on the ball is "3D". No reviews up here and bowlingballvault has a listing with little information. No picture of the core. It says it's a symmetric ball with Neoflex cover. I can see it's a 2-piece reactive. I wonder if it has the same core as the urethane Hammers from the era...

Before the Offsets that made Mo and Hammer famous, there was the 3D and 4D series.
I had a 3D pearl and it was a very strong ball with very high flare potential. It was a great ball, in my opinion (probably because I did so well with it.)  The only difference between it and the original offset was the MB of the offset. Both the solid and the pearl were great balls, if lost in the greatness of the Offsets, of which Faball made a ton of versions.Ironically, the 4D series were even stronger than the 3Ds and that was their downfall for most people: they were so strong they rolled out unless you had a lot of ball speed or very few revs.

Once again, leave it up to Charlest to rescue me when I buy some obscure old ball for cheap off Craigslist. Sounds like I got a winner with this one. Of course, some Hammerhead out there might want it even more than me!
