I just bought another Blue Hammer, this one has a "B" in the serial number and the #1 right in front of the word "Hammer" on the logo.

Can anybody tell me what the "1" is for?

I don't know about the #1 on the ball but the "b" indicates built in Baltimore. back in the day 2nds had the number 2 in the bullseye
