I don't see how you can go wrong with any of them.
A couple of things, if I may:
- the pink is a solid, but it does hook very little. A friend loved his as a strike ball, but has a decent amoutn of revs. YOu might have to be a littl emore careful with this solid as opposed to the pearls, IF you throw your normal strike ball and do not flatten it out.
- the pearls are the original 2 piece Hammers; as such, they will go longer than the pink and hook more at the backend, WHEN USED AS STRIKES balls. Again, you really only have to be careful if you throw your strike ball release at spares.
They all hook much less than any resins.
The pearls can be made to skid 65 feet, while the Pink (what an awful color!) will be moderate throughout its arc and roll. I suppose it can polished.
- Hammer is currently selling a red pearl Hammer, new, but it has a 3 piece pancake core. It is a spare ball and is designed as such. It should hook a little less than the EBAY balls which are original old time Hammers, with 2 piece cores.
- the old red pearls supposedly hooked more than the Blue Pearl Hammer. Nowadays that difference should be totally trivial.
That's all I got. Good luck.
