Bowled 2nd squad league last night, and used my 3D offset superflip - the light blue one that nobody liked and had my best set of the year. I threw the ball better than I have all year with a 259, 259, 237 for a 755.  I am averaging 220 in the league, but have struggled all year to post a set higher than about a 720.  This ball had fallen out of my lineup as a piece I could use on a regular basis due to a loss in reaction.

This changed when my friend bought a ball spinner and it has taken up residence in my garage.  This was the first ball that I resurfaced, and the original reaaction I have had with the ball for the past 10 years is back.

Here is a tip that I will certainly keep in mind before looking for the next magic ball to turn the corner and hit like a mack truck, try resurfacing some of your older equipment that you have had success with.  You will save some money and may even find some magic in an old bowling ball.
