Looking for a sanding tool
« on: October 31, 2005, 04:29:13 AM »
I've been looking for a hand sander that looks like a screwdriver, but has maybe a 3" sanding drum on the side opposite the screwdriver handle.  If anyone can help me locate one and replacement drums, I would greatly appreciate it.

Don't know where to get what you are looking for.
What I did was take an old worn out phillips screwdriver wrapped it with duck tape until it was the proper size for a sanding drum which I can purchase at the local hardware store.
Works fine and only cost me a worn out screwdriver and a couple of feet of duck tape, which more than likely is less than the shipping for the actual tool.

PS this is for my personal use only, since I don't run a shop.
