It had an air bubble/defect in plug @ the top so rather than replug it, I just placed the diamond in it. It still can be re-drilled and plugged without diamond. It just looks cool, and personalized now. It is below the surface and you cannot feel it, but can see it. I have bowled at least 10 games with it. I also had it in a rejuvinator to remove all the excess oil, and the diamond stayed intact. Lane #1 is also famous for it's diamond cores. This ball has a Diamond Flip block with Dual mini diamond nuggets inside it.  handmeDN

USBC;
Page 85 Section 2 - Bowling balls paragraph b=5 under, Other Requirements
Read: Designs may be embedded in a ball as guides, or observation, or identification purposes, provided the designs are flush with the outer surface of the ball. There shall be no interior voids and the plugs or designs must be of the same material simular to, although not exactly the same as, the original material out of wich the ball was made:and shall otherwise comply with all bowling ball specifications.:USBC

As I read the rule, that ball needs the "diamond" removed before it can legally be used in sanction play.

Any questions regarding this, I can remove the diamond put a 31/32 slug in finger hole drill out clear plug replace with matching color plug and then drill out the slug and reinsert the Vise insert. If ball doesn't sell for my reserve price, feel free to contact me after the auction , becuase this is my next step! handmeDN
