ball sales out of hand
« on: October 06, 2005, 09:25:31 AM »
This is just my opinion.  Where is everyone getting these NEW balls from.  I mean, seriously.  Who just buys bowling balls, and has them lying around?  I know if pro shops have some older stuff, that is fine.  Or if someone is looking for some used stuff or older stuff.  That is what this exchange is supposed to be used for.

Where is everyone getting all these new releases NIB from...

Any input from anyone would be great....

My input would be its none of your business. I like saving money and if I can buy a nib from someone and save then that's my business.

Yep..I think we are all nuts.

I'll know I'm back as a bowler when I have fewer than 8 and take only 4 to the center!

Currently 6X and counting!

Personally I don't really understand buying all the new balls either.  But, I appreciate those who do.  They are ready suppliers for the used ball that I buy.  In the last year I've bought, maybe, 2 new balls.  I've bought, maybe, 10-12 used ones.  If  you look at my "arsenal" you might laugh.  Everything in it is at least one generation removed from current, most is older than that.

i am not saying there is anything wrong with haveing 50 balls, but how many of those 50 are going to be NEW RELEASES... i said this forum was for selling older stuff or used stuff.. and that is fine.. my point was that you are seeing NIB brand new balls .. which i do not think is what this forum was intended to be....

Hmmmmm....

Wanted/For Sale/Trades

Doesn't say a word about the condition of the item.  So I guess there is absolutley nothing wrong with a for sale or for trade NIB.  If someone can get a better deal on a NIB from someone on here, more power to them.  I know if I were in the market for a NIB, I would probably look here first too.

On a side note, what's up with all the negativity from you brinen???

i guess it is pointless to even post topics like this, when nobody can even see what I am talking about.. cuz they all live in their own little world

It seems to me you are living in your own little world as you call it. What does it matter to you if people are selling NIB balls on this site? There are still used balls sold here everyday. Who the hell died and said you could make the rules?
And for someone who cares so much about what's going on here you can't take the time to enter a profile. I guess you're to busy whining about how nobody plays by your rules.

Whether you think you can, or whether you think you can't... you're probably right.
