When you buy a Lane 1 you are already getting a blem..  Brunswick 2nd....

Lane 1 used to release blems. They typically had the diamond logos engraved upside down.

Brunswick has stopped allowing them to sell the blems since the Lane 1 blems were superior in performance to many of the midline Brunswick balls and Brunswick was losing exposure. So all Lane 1 blems are now destroyed by Brunswick employees before they leave the factory.
