do you need drills sharpened?
« on: November 23, 2013, 04:29:10 PM »
I've been a machinist for 9 years and can sharpen drills for proshops. I do some work for my local proshop in exchange for drilling and plugging or whatever else I need. So I was wondering if anyone needed any sharpening done in exchange for a ball if so let me know we can work something out

My names Josh

If you have any questions pm me. If you'd like I can give you the pro shop and name of the guy I do the work for

When you sharpen, does it make the bit slightly smaller?

No the size of the drill stays the same as far as diameter goes ie 3/4" will still cut the 3/4"  what I do is sharpen the point and cutting edge on tip of the drill.  So if your drill is 5" long it'll be 4.99" long

Just got finished doing a set of drills locally for amf terrace gardens. Payment was a radical reax v2. If you'd like your set done we can work out a price based on that ball or who knows I'm flexible as this is just side work for me so let me know what you're willing to do. Can bowling shoes 4ball roller or who knows
