Stinger 2 Piece Low Flare Particle

Just had a EBay dealer/proshop tell me that the BLUE/Teal Stinger 2P LF ball I had shipped back to him because I thought it was a PEARL is actually a PARTICLE Ball after all!!! Does anyone know how to tell for sure??
