I want a Reactive ball that gets a TON of length and has a really good strong backend.

I need it to be weaker than my Reaction Rev (that's polished to 2000) and stronger than my Blue/Violet Tornado (that's polished to 5000).

The Rev is my Medium/Heavy Oil ball and the Tornado is my Medium/Dry Oil ball. So I'm needing something for plain Medium Oil (or even Drier Medium Oil).

I need a 15lb ball. Drilled Righty. And I want to keep this ball polished to about 3500. It has to get lots of length and be able to get through the heads clean even when they start drying up.

I'm thinking along the lines of something with a Higher RG and a Higher Differential... for example - a Track Black Stomp or Reaction RIP polished to 3500... although these 2 balls may be too strong (or too close to my Rev)??? I don't know???

Let me know...

People out my way (and here at BR.com) seem to have an awful lot of good luck with the Brunswick Inferno and the Storm X-Factor (the original).

Other balls that sort of fall into this category are the
Roto-Grip Silver Streak Pearl & Pure Fuel,
Visinoary Crimson Executioner & Blue Gryphon
Columbia Jekyl (decent backend),
Ebonite Savage Flip.

Don't forget the AZO Drastic Spec-R;

I can personally vouch for the Blue Gryphon, Crimson Executioner, and the Drastic Spec-r.  If you can find one, even the AZO Littleboy has MAJOR backend.

In the old days people used to cut wood with axes.....................now and days...............they just have Executioners do it for them!

Pin_Krusher IS a serious threat to modern day bowling wood as we know it today.

#1 - no reactive ball will go clean through the heads when they dry up.  There is no such thing.  Even plastic will hook early in drier heads. LOFT any ball about 10 feet down the lane... there is the length.  The closest thing you can get to what you are asking is the Ebonite Savage Flip or Hammer Sling Blade, but both will hook early in drier heads.  Pearl Urethane Hammer would be the way to go to get through the heads, but forget about backend.

On a medium shot, in order of power at the pins in my experiences.

big backend balls
1.time zone (drilled 70 deg.)
2.Green Gargoyle
3.Savage flip
4.blade pearl

arcing balls or less snappy
1. Blue sparkle Gryphon . 25 or 45 deg layout
2. Time zone - zero deg layout
3. Sling Blade - 25 deg
4. Turbo diesel drilled 105 deg with the cg negative.

all of these will clear the heads unless they are burnt. Loft is a good tip also. except the Turbo unless you polish it.

The Storm Core Power HRG has absolutely amazing length and rips on the backend.  The only other ball I have ever seen that compares is the Visionary green gargoyle.  Either of these balls would fit your request quite nicely.  A bonus is that they both are mid-priced balls and should be able to pick up here on ballreviews!
Good Luck,

Might I suggest, from personal experience, a MoRich Pioneer.  Provides exceptional length with unsurpassed backend movement and devastating hit.

Cherry Bomb weaker than a Rev?  Oookey.  Might want to check out the new Big B Monster Slay/R.  It's a medium ball that's an absolute skiiiiiid/SNAP demon.  The Quantum core actually keeps it pretty stable for the kind of reaction the Powerkoil LS coverstock promotes.

I think I'll have to second that Throttle/R, although I think it'll probably hook more than you're wanting.  It's a skid snap demon too, and pretty consistent.  I hate Columbia, but it's a good ball, I have to admit.
