It had an air bubble/defect in plug @ the top so rather than replug it, I just placed the diamond in it. It still can be re-drilled and plugged without diamond. It just looks cool, and personalized now. It is below the surface and you cannot feel it, but can see it. I have bowled at least 10 games with it. I also had it in a rejuvinator to remove all the excess oil, and the diamond stayed intact. Lane #1 is also famous for it's diamond cores. This ball has a Diamond Flip block with Dual mini diamond nuggets inside it.  handmeDN

Read: Designs may be embedded in a ball as guides, or observation, or identification purposes, provided the designs are flush with the outer surface of the ball.
