Isn't $100 for the shipping a little excessive? It shouldn't cost more than $30 to ship 4 balls cross country...

Avg price to ship a ball here is 18 each. x 4 is $72 right.
Bowling bag is going to cost about 15 to 20 cause of size i paid 18.50 to have it shipped here.boxes and tape are not free. so that come close to 100 right??
Unless you want to drive here and pick it up.Im sure the winner wont have a problem if you drive it to them.

Shipping doesn't work that way - unless you're shipping in multiple boxes. It cost me $16.00 fed ex ground to ship 4 balls to vegas - one was $11.00.

If you are getting charged that much for shipping then you are the one getting ripped off.  There is no way shipping would be that much.  If it is it would be cheaper for you to ship via a frieght service.

I just checked out UPS and it would cost $55.95 to ship 4 balls in one box from NC to CA. You would have to ship the bag seperate which would cost around $20. This is calculating from eastcoast to westcoast, so tjis should be the most it would cost. While $100 is a little high, it's not that far off. $75-$80 should cover everything though. Makes it look like he's trying to make a little money off the shipping.
