Looking for a decent ball for a beginner
« on: March 11, 2004, 12:37:30 AM »
My friend's younger brother wants a ball so we are looking for something maybe around 20-25 shipped.  He just wants something that looks cool.  If anyone has a decent reactive or particle laying around that they want to get rid of let me know.  We live in 44601 for shipping calculations.

He's a two handed bowler(right hand in ball) so any weight from 14 and up is fine.

Thanks alot

I have a millennium Y2K solid and pearl, heavy 15 you can have either for 30.00 including shipping or both for 50.00 incliding shipping. Both are in good condition with grips.

Thanks I'll let him know... he really doesn't have alot to spend though so he's looking for something cheap.  He's only 14 and just starting up so his span is gonna change often and all that good stuff.

A friend of mine said he has one for him and all he has to do is cover the drilling expenses, but let me know how much the ball would be shipped to 44601 and I'll let him know anyway just incase.  Thanks a bunch...

Not exactly sure of his span... it's definately under 4 though.  Probably like 3 3/4 or something close to that.  I'll get back to all of you tomorrow after I let him see this post.  Thanks again everyone.

no problem...just trying to help.  my span is around 4 5/8, so a plug and new thumb drilling would be necessary.  let me know if youre interested...the ball hooked pretty good when i used to throw it...probably 5 years ago or so.

Span should be much of a problem... he doesn't use him thumb on strike balls because of his left hand staying on the ball so long.  Although we need to atleast teach him how to pick up a spare on the right side so he probably should have it drilled to fit his thumb too.  Oh well he just likes having fun right now so I guess that's the most important thing.  Thanks again bud, much appreciated!
