I saw one (Blazing Violet solid) in the Harper Sport Shop in St. Clair Shores MI a few months ago.  This place kind of specializes in hockey, baseball, and weightlifting equipment, but because they seem to feel it's necessary to be an "all-in-one" sport shop, they also stock a pitiful array of bowling equipment.  They make no attempt to keep up to date on bowling stuff, but this might work out in your favor.  The number is 586-779-9090 if you want to see if they still have it.

I was just in the shop I referred to above and they still have the 16# Blazing Violet 3-D Offset.  Pin looked to be about 2" or so.  They want $150 for it; price including drilling.  Rather pig-headedly (in my opinion) they also intend to charge $150 for it even if you buy it blank.  Price is steep, but if you are desperate enough for one, maybe you'll pay it.  The place is a like a museum of old bowling balls.  They also have at least one new Red Wolf and some Tidal Waves.
