f/t 15 lb X Factor Pro
« on: October 01, 2004, 02:15:54 AM »
Looking to trade my Xfactor Pro, has 8 games on it, and single drilling. Great shape, very strong ball.  Span is 4 1/2 with grips and a slug, drilled right handed.  Has the pin over the ring finger, and cg kicked out with a wieght hole.  Looking for a trade for something of equal value.  Message me here or at axeweldr@aol.com

Lefty...if memory serves me correctly it's the XXX coverstock around the X-Factor core?  Or was it the other way around?

There is no difference between the x factor and the x factor pro.  Check out my post axe and see if you would trade anything for it, I might trade 2 for it.

Actually the core is the X factor core with the dual discs, and the cover is the monsoon cover stock, that has been used on the Triple X.  Considering offers of smaller companys stuff.  Specifically newer Lane Master, or Legend balls.

I actually emailed storm awhile back ago and they said there was no difference between them.  But that's what they told me.

Well based on the sheet that they give with the ball, with core, and cover etc.  But we all know how well companies give info on balls.  For all we there is no difference between any ball from any company.  lol   I do know that the pro seems lots stronger, and seem to handle more oil, better.  Thanks for the info.

i did some research on the ball as well and it is nothing more than the original x-factor with a different color. this was released long before the monsoon was even released.

Well if you don't believe me, I can send you pics of the spec sheet.  But I guess I can not read.

I'm with Ace on this one.  I have the spec sheet to mine at home and it does list Monsoon as the coverstock material.

There was another user on the board that stated the Pro did infact hook earlier and more than his X-Factor.  I have yet to drill my Pro so I can't comment based on actual usage...yet.

well, ok, but that's weird. it sounds like nothing more than a XXX with an inverted weight block.

also, the reason i thought it had the accu-tread is because i have an x and a pro and they both were drilled the same and went the same length and backend recovery. i figured that if it had the monsoon, it would have been more aggressive.

well, sorry. but all of the sites i've checked on it list it as a regular x-factor. my fault.
