WANTED!! NIB or USED 15 lb El Nino Gold, 2000, or X-IT
« on: September 13, 2003, 11:52:11 PM »
Anyone still have one of these laying around?  Specs really don't matter much, as long as the cg isn't hugging the pin, I just want to get my hands on one (or possibly all) of these!  What I have to trade (if you'd be willing to trade instead of sell) is:

15 lb Time Zone - Great condition, drilled pin over fingers, cg kicked out, weighthole near pap.  30 games or so, few scratches, beginnings of a track.  Thumb was reslugged and moved slightly forward, but I checked, and a 1 3/8ths slug would eliminate the patchwork completely.

15 lb Fuze Detonator - Less than 5 games, pristine condition.  Same layout as Time Zone.  No scratches, no track.

14 lb Savage Flip - Less than 5 games, pristine condition.  Same layout as previous two.  No scratches, no track.

15 lb Ice Blue Power Groove - Less than 5 games, pristine condition.  Same layout as previous three.  No scratches, no track.

15 lb Red Hit - Less than 10 games, excellent condition.  Ring finger was drilled straight down into the pin (lol, it IS the pin now), the cg is in a line from ring to thumb.  Fingers were plugged (from no grips, moved up about a quarter inch), plugging is right below grips, is slightly shallow.

Might be able to bargain with the boss to get someone a newly released NIB ball to trade for a NIB that I want.  As is the case with these balls, the Time Zone is my favorite in my entire arsenal, I just haven't had the chance to reslug it, which I need to do to throw it.  The Detonator is awesome, I just never see that much oil, and don't have trouble generating hook in heavy oil.  The Flip is too light, and honestly I don't like it that much.  It moves WAY too early, which I can't imagine with the drilling, and it's a little oil sensitive.  Probably would be a great ball for a little more oil if it was sanded.  Again, I never see that much oil.  The Power Groove is AWESOME, it's just too close to my Red Fuze (although it has more length).  I don't want to plug the thumb on the Hit, lol, the boss would have a fit with all the plugging and redrilling I do.  Not trying to get rid of any of these, but if they're what it takes to get what I want more, so be it!

Can resurface, sand, or polish any of these, as I work in a pro shop.  The Time Zone is the only one that might possibly use it, although if you want a test ball with a different surface, I can accomodate.  Might even throw in a pair of your size in Turbo Quads upon request.  Can also completely plug before sending.  Heck, want a box of tape too?  Lol.  Thanks.

HAH!  I don't know ANYBODY now!

Being in adult leagues teaches you many things.

1.  You're not on top anymore, but there are a lot more people that suck worse than you do now.

2.  The myth about the youths having an easier shot is NOT TRUE.  I'd have an entire ring collection if it was.

3.  Drunk adults are a lot funnier than drunk youths.
