Looking for NIB 15lb. spare ball...
« on: September 23, 2004, 03:51:30 PM »
I'm trying very hard to get a spare ball 15 lb. NIB (something like a white dot, Target Zone, etc.) and having a difficult time winning an auction on Ebay to do it. Anyone who can help me please respond or PM me- you would be shipping to zip code 01420...

If you're just buying a spare ball, call around to the Pro Shops in your area and see who will give you the best price. Considering that most places charge you quite a bit to drill up a "customer provided" ball, and that you will probably be paying around $17 to $20 to have an ebay or ballreviews.com purchase shipped to you, you aren't going to save much by buying online - and it could even cost you more! I buy lots of stuff online, but I also buy from my favorite Pro Shop. That way he's willing to give me a decent price to drill up my Internet purchases for a reasonable charge. I wouldn't even think of bringing in an ebay purchased plastic spare ball for them to drill - that would be rude.
