Title: positive/negative feedback forum...ALL SHOULD READ THIS!!!
Post by: C-G ProShop-Carl on July 21, 2003, 06:53:26 AM
Just a suggestion from me to all other users.

Since it is very clear that ballreviews is not going to give us a forum for this purpose, why not make one of the lesser forums into a feedback on users room ourselves?

I would suggest the comments forum at the bottom.

Anyone else up for this??

Sounds good. We can all start posting  about transactions in that forum then. One of us will have to occasionally post here to remind others  to post there about transactions.

I would also suggest using that to ask questions about a certain user if you are alittle worried about selling/trading with them, then you can post a question and someone will answer.

GOODLUCK all....

Having run my own forum (not bowling-related), there's something slightly obnoxious about a group of forum users deciding to use a section for a purpose other than what the site owner intended it for.

If you want a feedback section, keep asking for it, and eventually you'll either get it, or Bruce will explain why he doesn't want to provide one.

If you decide to go ahead with using the Comments and Suggestions forum for feedback on users, don't be surprised to find one morning that it's been deleted.

The idea is a good one. I do think that it should have Bruce Hamiltons consent. That just seems to be the right thing. I am discouraged that some see this as a ball review site. It just seems to be alot more than that. Buddies has a great ball review site but IMO, It is just that, and quite a bore. The forums and the people who use Ballreviews.com make this site as great as it is. Period. Besides, if Bruce set up a For Sale/Trade user feedback system, we could probably have something decent. I mean, I am just an ol hippie/hillbilly whos com-pew-taytor runs off the telephone wires. It would be cool to see a system(E-BAY?) where I could type in someones name and BAM!, its all there. Anyway.............-Mike
