Sorry to rile everyone up. I am selling this for a friend who does not have a PC. He borrowed a camera which it turns out did not take very good pic's. This is supposed to be a collector's item. We will wait and see.

yea, you never know. I listed a kids spongebob 8 pound vizaball on here a couple of weeks ago for $50 shipped and I received 0 inquiries about it. I put it on ebay and it ended at $152 shipped!!

So sometimes Ebay is the way to go..

jkiser, thast is the thing with a lot of those balls...Vis-A-Ball's will fetch more to the right buyer.  However, the thing with this one is that it isn't even a Vis-A-Ball...it is just a basic engraving.  

pagnouch, nobody in their right mind is going to bid on that one at that price.  If you truly believe that it is worth that much then lower the starting price to something much more realistic and then set a reserve price.

Michelle,

When he called Brunswick, they said that they had to get permission from the 49ers and the NFL for the ingraving and the trademark sign. They made approx 300 balls for each NFL team thats why he thinks it is worth this much. Thanks for the advise. I will let him know.
