What in the world does that mean?

I see several persons respond with "ttt" and i am clueless.  Am I that dumb?  Help a brother out.....

I must be having a real brain cramp... Why in the the world when someone responding toa topic to post "ttt"

Are they trying to get in into the latest post listing on the front page by responding to the topic after some dead time?  

Now that would make since.

You got it now. When someone posts ttt, they are putting their post to the top of the list so it gets more views. Its just that simple!
