shotmaker,

I don't expect that michele03 is gonna buy this bag. She agreed to buy the bag, then said she wouldn't have payment for 2 weeks and then I ask her for her shipping address yesterday and surprise, I have heard nothing from her.

i got bored, and i research things when i get bored, and here's a few links i came up with.....

http://www.ballreviews.com/Forum/Replies.asp?TopicID=27101&ForumID=77&CategoryID=2  (a post from trackfreak on 5/14, which wouldn't make sense, since i rememebr someone saying that he'd been on vacation since 5/10 or 5/12)

http://www.bowlingindex.com/bowlingboard/read.php?TID=364#1392  (a post by trackfreak saying he's interested in buying a track 3 ball bag from someone.  that one could be interpreted a few different ways, so you can handle it yourself)

and also, another interesting tidbit that i got off a public internet address directory:

WILLIAM SCHMITT
177 LISLE ST
TORRINGTON CT  06790
(860)482-1524

(check that address and phone number you got from him jkiser01)

sorry to join in, but like i said, i was bored.

I, like many others prefer to stay out of matters like this, however, 2+2 do NOT =4 here. Having had the opportunity to spend much time in Ct. (supposedly that is where TrackFreak is from) there seems to be more problems to this story adding up.

Torrington, Ct. is a fair sized town, approximately one hours drive to Hartford. If TrackFreak (here is the BIG IF), needed to drive an hour one way to ship something, that would be the location.

Now having the remembrance of spending time in Torrington in the early 90's, I decided to refresh my poor memory and do some research. For a town with the population of over 35,000 not to have either a UPS, FedEx, or even a USPS service to ship from seemed amazing. Lo & Behold....per the websites for all three shipping options, there is more than one location for each in the Torrington area!

Now, why would anyone drive a total of two hours (one hour each way) to ship a package, when it can be done right in their own small town?

It seems that the plot gets deeper, and the manure thicker.

MTFD24,

Thanks for the info, and thats actually no surprise. He has not been honest with me from the start. Also, trackfreak has done nothing to try to contact me. I just hope no one else buys anything from Bill Schmitt in Torrington. CT.

I posted that address a while earlier & removed it at his request.

He said that's his grandfather's address. At the time it sounded like the transaction was going OK, so that's why I removed it, I'm glad to see someone else posted it now.
