Thought I'd share my experience with this tape.
This is the single greatest bowling accessory I have every imagined using.
I have never had a good feel w/ my thumb.
I have tried many things, multiple pitches, multiple thumb sizes, played around with spans.
I have gone so far as to learn how to drill balls myself and tried probably about 100 different combinations.
My basic problem is short, dry thumb, so I can't hold onto ball unless use a lot of forward pitch, but then I don't get it out good.
I have learned an awful lot about fitting, the effect of pitch, thumb size, bevel, span, but couldn't find the fit that is perfect.
Vise ta-2b tape changed that immediately.
I had actually bought it a whole year earlier but didn't try it b/c it felt so sticky that I would never be able to get my thumb out.
Finally, just as an experiment I tried it in and I never how a consistent feel every shot and precise control over when the ball comes off thumb. No longer hoping it doesn't come out a tad too early, or too late hitting up on it.
The key thing is to not have the thumb hole as tight as it was before. Slightly loose. It is very sticky, but when release the ball it's the back of thumb that should rub against the thumb hole, not the thumb pad.
This stuff is amazing, but have not found any discuss it anywhere.
And yes, I have tried the various, more rough bowlers tape that both vise and turbo have, the TA series is totally different.
