There were 2 Pure Hammers, of which I am aware. Neither was 100% urethane.
The Black was a resin/urethane blend.
The Burgundy was pure resin that was supposed to emulate urethane. It didn't. I had one. Liked it a lot. It was a medium-light to almost medium oil, solid, polished ball that was sort of a control ball. But it hooked too much and had too much backend to be considered a urethane-like reaction.
A friend had the Black and the more he shine it, the more it flipped in the backend.
If you want a true urethane-like reaction, try any of the current urethanes: Hype, Liberator, Natural, Desperado, Ogre Urethane.
