COMMENTS

The new Arson High Flare SOLID features the same revised version (Higher Diff) of the Arson core, but with a solid coverstock from the original Arson classic. The AHF Solid is the perfect complement for the medium to medium- heavier lane patterns. The 3000 surface on this cover still gets through the front part of the lane with ease and provides a very controllable motion in the midlanes along a strong backend motion to the pocket.
For me, this is my new benchmark ball that will tell me which direction I need to go when bowling in league & tournaments. The AHF Solid provides me a strong rolling ball that does not quit, but has a very controllable motion off the spot. I can keep chasing the oil inside and this ball still comes back when playing deep inside the lane and allows me to open up the lane a little bit more.

With the new standard 3 year warrantee that Hammer provides for this ball, that is a great added value for your money!  I think this ball fits perfectly in the Hammer line up and will be a great addition to your current arsenal.  Very versatile ball… You will be impressed!

At times I struggle with the shorter patterns and getting a ball in to my hand that's weak enough to not over-react, but still strong enough to carry.... THIS BALL IS IT!

I have mine layed out with a strong leverage/stacked drilling with the pin to the right of my ring finger and the cg directly underneath. No weight hole.

This ball allows me to play up the board confidently knowing it is going to store energy, yet not overreact when it hits the end of the pattern!!   perfect addition to my arsenal and just what I was looking for....   Video on my facebook page:   Stefanie Johnson fans.

Likes:  The Arson High Flare gets through the fronts and strong backend.  I polished my ball due to my speed 14-16 mph.  The Dual Layout I used was 45 x 5 x 45 which is my benchmark layout.  Once the ball hit the end of the pattern.  It made a strong turn to the pocket.  I use this ball when the back ends start to have carry down and playing deeper angles.  Overall a good ball to have in you arsenal.

Dislikes:  Too strong on the fresh pattern even for a Pin up stable layout.

Likes: This ball compares to the Arson Hi flare very well.   It is about 4-6 boards stronger with a little different read on the lanes.   The regular Arson Hi Flare gets downlane and then takes off in the backend.  The Arson Hi Flare Solid read sooner in the lane and has more of a controlled roll from the midlane through the pins.  Definitely shores up the 1-2 gap at the upper end of the mid performance line.

Dislikes: Medium to heavy oil patterns are probably best for this ball. When they dry up a little you could move left or ball down to the Arson Hi Flare to get the ball down the same spot the Solid no longer can with ease.

LANE CONDITION

Length:35 ft, 40 ft

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):Boardwalk and THS

COMMENTS

This ball is a great fit for my tournament bag. I used a 45 x 5 x 65 dual angle layout which but the pin under my ring finger. I have trouble on shorter patterns and until this ball and have almost solely used my Black Hammer Urethane. This ball allows me to stay right and the ball is able to store energy for a controlled back end reaction at the end of the pattern.
