- Factory Finish: 500, 500, 500, 1500 Abranet with Powerhouse Factory Finish Polish
- Reaction:
- Radius of Gyration (RG): 2.49**
- Differential (Diff): 0.054**
- ** RG and Diff are based off of 15 lb. balls
- Recommended Lane Condition: Medium-Heavy Oil

COMMENTS

Ball Layout: 90 x 4 3/4 x 30

Likes: I wanted to drill up something different with this layout, which compliments my Amp very well. The Amp Up shares the same core (PowerShot Asymmetric) with a pearlized cover (Overdrive Pearl). The core/cover compliments each other very well. The definitely gets through the front with ease, and still has the very STRONG mid-lane motion ball that continues through the pin decks.

Dislikes: Might be a little too much ball for the lighter patterns, which it is not designed to be in the. There are plenty of options within the Hammer line for the lighter patterns.

This ball should be the 2nd ball out of the bag for most style of bowlers when the pattern breaks down a little bit in league / tournament play. This ball does NOT quit in the backends… it is very continuous motion that most styles of bowlers will enjoy to have in their bag. With the Clean/Sheen finish, this pearl ball does not over-react on the wet conditions, but still has some length that fits perfectly in the Hammer product line.

The Amp Up will be available through your local pro shop on December 10th, so make sure you add this new gem to your Bowling Arsenal.

COMMENTS

Likes: After a game or two the ball has great length and a strong arc to the pocket.  I can't wait to drill one length and forward roll layout for flatter patterns.  I love the color scheme and plenty of hitting power!   

I used Dual Angle Layout 80x5x20. 
PAP/Track: 5 3/8 Horizontal and Vertical 5/16 up.
Rev rate 400. 
Axis tilt:  0-45-90 degrees depends on lane condition
Speed: 14-15 mpr

Dislikes:  On Lighter conditions, but I have thrown on burnt heads and carry down.  We have other balls that we can use.

WOW this ball has some backend.... I was looking for something a little more aggressive in the back ends (kind of like my original Black widow) and man did Hammer deliver this time.. NOT a ball for Dryer lanes bc it will jump on you.. Ball goes long but even if you miss a little to the right of your target ( if your right handed) this ball with still make the turn in the backends..

Not a Huge fan of the colors but ... when it strikes a lot who cares.

Going to give you a in general review of this ball..... Ball is amazing! Yet again another ball motion that we have not seen from Hammer. Ball is easy through the fronts and makes a mild med lane read... Once it enters the roll zone this ball is even and pushes hard through the pins. 60*4 1/2 * 40 is what I used on this one. Curious on how taking the surface down is going to make it react. That's on the plate for the next surface change project


I like this ball because it doesn't let you get out of hand. It keeps you in the 1 3 pocket for a long time. Very nice tournament ball for those that want to strike often.
